How long do kitchen and bathroom remodels take?

Again, this will all depend on what is needed for your specific project. We begin the design process about 3-6 months prior to the actual in-home build. This time allows for space planning, material selection, and lead time needed for ordering. Once work begins in your home, we typically tell homeowners to expect about 6-8 weeks for a kitchen remodel from demo to completion, and 4-5 weeks for a bathroom remodel from demo to completion.

Do you offer design services?

We do! Lauren has an interior design background and can assist as much or as little as you'd like with color and material selections as well as room layouts and floor plans. At this time we are only offering design services with a kitchen or bathroom remodel and not as a stand alone service.

What brand of cabinets do you use?

We work with several local cabinet suppliers and have access to many different cabinet lines to suit any need. Current brands include the following:

Merillat Classic, Merillat Masterpiece, Kraftmaid, Quality Cabinets, Starmark, Fabuwood, Kith, and more.

We'll work with you to determine which brand best suits your needs and budget.

Can I buy my own materials?

As a full service remodeling company we handle all aspects of your project from start to finish, which includes sourcing, purchasing and coordinating delivery of all materials, fixtures, and finishes for the job. We have found that this makes the process much smoother, and also helps limit any oversight.

Do you use subcontractors?

We are a small family owned business which means we are very much involved in the entire planning and building phases. Dan is a licensed builder and will be on site often. However since we offer full service remodeling, we do utilize many specialty trades to get your job done right. Subcontractors can include plumbers, electricians, hvac specialists, flooring installers, painters, drywallers, finish carpenters, and more. This ensures that you are recieving the best quality finished product possible. All of our subcontractors are vetted by us and are licensed and/or insured in their specific trade. Even during these phases, we perform regular site visits ourselves to make certain any subcontractors' work is in compliance with the project's scope and our quality standards.

Can I use my own subcontractors?

Although we do have a list of trades people we trust, if you have a favorite specialist that you'd like us to work with, we are happy to connect with them to see if working together would be a good fit for everyone. Please note however, that since we have not vetted them ourselves we cannot guarantee the quality of their work.

Can I do some of the work myself?

We prefer to handle all aspects of your project from start to finish to ensure an efficient timeline and the best quality result possible. Of course we value your input throughout the entire process, it is your home after all, however sit back, relax, and leave the physical work us to us!
